To uphold professionalism as well as human dignity, managers should use the employee separation notice. The personnel holding these positions are terminated. Use your termination notification to aid you get through the meeting. The worker has the right to know why you are sacking him. The Americans with Disabilities Act also applies to the second case where the employee becomes disabled while working for the company. While personnel departments have workers with skills in this area, you may work in a small business that does not offer such support. You don't want the insubordinate individual to say he didn't know he could lose his job.
